MSc Artificial Intelligence: Your Future from Vienna, Austria

Build your next chapter without leaving Vienna. The MSc Artificial Intelligence is offered online in exclusive partnership between the University of Lancashire and Robert Kennedy College. It gives you the opportunity to develop your understanding of AI while continuing to live, work and pursue your goals in Austria.

From the foundations of intelligent systems to their potential across industries, the ideas you study can travel with you. Whether your ambitions are rooted in Vienna or reach far beyond it, an online master’s degree can help you make room for them.

Earn a British degree with international recognition

A British master’s degree can be a valuable addition to a career with international ambitions. Awarded by the University of Lancashire, the degree offers a qualification recognised internationally while allowing you to study from Vienna.

For professionals working across borders, it can provide a way to demonstrate advanced study in a rapidly evolving field. You can bring what you learn to conversations and opportunities in Austria and around the world.

Complete your studies 100% online in as little as one year

There is no need to relocate or put your life in Vienna on hold. The programme can be completed entirely online, giving you the flexibility to pursue a master’s degree alongside your existing commitments.

It is possible to complete the programme in as little as one year. That means you could start developing new knowledge now and be ready to apply it to your ambitions sooner than you might expect.

Study without fixed attendance times

Your working day, family life and personal plans do not always fit a scheduled online class. This programme does not require you to be online at specific times and dates, so you can choose when to engage with your studies.

Study early before Vienna wakes, revisit a lecture after work or make progress at the weekend. You can build a routine that fits your life while staying focused on your academic goals.

Take your learning wherever you go

Vienna can be your home base without becoming a limit on where you study. Because the programme is online, you can keep learning from anywhere in the world, whether you are at home, away for work or travelling.

The mobile app makes study more portable: download study materials and watch lectures offline when an internet connection is unavailable. A train journey or time between appointments can become an opportunity to keep moving forward.

Show your understanding through open-book assessments

Rather than relying on classical question-and-answer exams, the programme uses open-book assessments. You can draw on learning resources as you work through questions and demonstrate how you understand the material.

For a subject with wide-ranging applications, this approach invites you to engage thoughtfully with concepts instead of concentrating only on recall. It is an opportunity to develop and express your reasoning.

Learn from internationally educated faculty

Your tutors and faculty bring academic backgrounds shaped by world-renowned universities, including Oxford, Harvard, EPFL, the University of Basel and Washington University in St. Louis.

Learning with educators who have studied in different academic environments can broaden your perspective. From Vienna, you can encounter insights informed by an international range of educational experiences.

Join a truly international learning community

Robert Kennedy College’s student base spans more than 130 countries. Its alumni have gone on to work for international organisations and companies including Uniqa, the United Nations, Google, the ICRC, the World Bank, Microsoft, Intel, Samsung, Tencent, Siemens and Sony.

Studying alongside people with different professional and cultural perspectives can help you see how ideas in artificial intelligence may be considered around the world. The connections you make can be as inspiring as the subjects you explore.

Plan your payments over time

The fees can be paid in up to 18 monthly interest-free instalments. Spreading payments over time can make it easier to plan your studies alongside your other commitments.

With a clear payment schedule, you can focus on the next steps in your education and decide how the programme fits your plans.

Imagine what AI knowledge could mean in Vienna

Vienna’s financial services and insurance sectors offer compelling settings in which to think about artificial intelligence. For graduates working in these fields, AI concepts could inform approaches to data analysis, customer experience, risk assessment and operational decision-making. Advanced study can help you contribute more confidently to discussions about where intelligent tools may add value.

The city’s life sciences and healthcare ecosystem also creates opportunities to consider AI’s potential. From research and diagnostics to planning and service delivery, graduates can bring a stronger theoretical understanding to multidisciplinary teams exploring how data-driven methods might support their work. The ability to evaluate both possibilities and limitations matters in such consequential settings.

As a host to international organisations and a hub for businesses serving markets across Europe, Vienna is a place where ideas often cross borders. Graduates may find their studies useful when discussing responsible AI adoption, improving processes or collaborating with colleagues in different countries. You can study from Vienna while preparing to contribute wherever your career takes you.
